[postfix-jp: 1948] Maildir形式の変更で困っています

はじめまして。

書籍とホームページを参考に Debian sarge にて postfix のインストールを行って
います。
postfix を Maildir形式 で運用するところで躓いています。
最終的には、(1)MySQLで仮想ユーザ (2)SMTP-Auth (3)Over-SSL を目指しています。
きっと些細なミスだとは思うのですが、ご指摘頂ければ助かります。


現象：
メールの送受信は、できるのですが着信メールが /var/mail/username に着信する。
Maildir形式の指示が無視されているようです。

やったこと：
apt-get install postfix curier-pop
maildirmake /etc/skel/Maildir
adduser testuser
設定ファイルを変更後に /etc/init.d/postfix restart

設定ファイルの状態(postconf -n)：

alias_maps = hash:/etc/aliases
append_dot_mydomain = no
biff = no
config_directory = /etc/postfix
disable_vrfy_command = yes
home_mailbox = Maildir/
